Megan (!) and Mary at the Little Café

Margaret enjoys the happiness that red coffee brings.

Kristin enganged in a conversation with Joy, who joined the Navy inspired by the Village People song "In the Navy" (and this is so faulous, I am not even making it up)

Me, apparently having fun with glasses.

Downstairs at Java's where Margaret killed me at playing pool.

...or so I let her beleive.

Mary and the surprised Kristin.

Definitely a cool place down there.

The stairs upwards are, however, terrifying.

Ghettofab-graffittyfied cars at the Roc, fo shizzle.

Peace starts with justice? Freedom isn't free? Repent now and get 10% off your next purchase?

SPoT coffee (look how I even did the random capitalization)

It is always a pleasant surprise to see Jake.

After 3 weeks of waiting the crazy phenomenon of Margaret's extensive drooling from Snapple™ Kiwi-Strawberry is finally to be witnessed again.

Let the good times roll.

Jake is rather stunned.

The stuff is actually ver tasty.

In Margaret's kitchen: Moi, Kristin & Mary

Kitty-Meow carefully inspects my foot.

Driving through the world with Baas.

Visiting deserted town with such exquisit places as the one pictured above.

There was seriously noone around.

The Amico's kitchen and living room in a rather terrifying light.

And this wins the attractive-award of the year.

Hey, I'm 12 and Beth has the coolest license picture ever. Oh, welcome to Canada.

Niagara falls. Now what you need to know is that Ina (from Germany) was going to meet us there. We simply didn't exactly know where or when. So this was a little more complecated than it seems because the place is actually quite big.
´

Horseshoe Falls.

Hand Sanitzing Lotion.

Not having found Ina, we retreat to the pizza place and have ourselves some tasty fast-food.

This is when the idea was born that I could as well take pictures of every meal I was going to eat. Just to late be able to say "Did I really?"

Mist, people.

Patiently we wait, have some fun with sunglasses while Baas looks out for "aryan people", as she put it.

Oh Canada...

It was also one of the hottest days I have ever experienced so being soaked from head to toe by the mist was not all that bad.

Various people had told Ina and me that meeting each other in Canada was not only a dumb but also a definitely impossible thing to do. So clearly it was on.

And voilà: There she was.

Ina & Beth

We have decided that the world is now officially too small for us.

Writing some postcards home.

Sad moments of parting (which is such a sweet sorrow)

One more westside from the senoritas for sweet goodbye.

Stephy with water in her hair.

Oh attractive me.

I seriously enjoy this photo.

Even more water... I am such a bad freind, this is after she bought me ice cream.

The American falls.

Random people at the falls.

Probably one of the best signs I have ever seen- they even got the fence right.

More falls for you.

The Maid of the Mist.

It was hot. But I think I mentioned that before.

So instead of being real tourists we were those lazy sort of toursist that laid around next to the falls. In the shade.

We fed seagulls with chocolate chip cookies from Silver Lake.

This one was taken for Marty.

More money wasted at the Arcade- what ever happened to those prizes?

Unbearable hotness.

..green?

Another lovely visit at the Eskes, this time it is former exchange student gathering. So here I finally met Sasha, the guy I used to be compared with. Because I was blonde. And from Germany. Yeah.

It is digital camera madness.

Bob

A group photo under the united flags of the Eskes house.

Another goodbye.

Rain. And I thought they didn't have rain in Rochester.

Isn't this a beautiful cat?

Especially when she yawns.

Subs on a rainy day.

Kristin

This was seconds later. Because we never had food in the fridge. But then Margaret is one busy woman.

Kristin at the Mac upstairs.

The parking garage next to High Falls.

Welcome to one of Rochester's supreme tourist attractions. And the propaganda lightshow.

Kristin weights nothing btw.

Kodak.

DJ Laser Lars in me raved. And assissinated some serious turntables. Ma Nizzle.

Can't stop the ROC.

L'histoire d'art in danger.

A surprise trip to the cajaking place.

I didn't take the camera on the water (which turned out to be a high quality idea) but it was definitely fun to Indiana Jones it up in the suburbs of Rochester.

Margaret looking 16.

Sascha once more, this time we are at the wedding of two people I have never met before at Beth's church.

We are comparing foot sized during the ceremony/one of the supposedly happiest moments of other ppl's lifes.

The couple.

American wastefulness in action part II.

Marty & Beth at the wedding reception.

Beth's parents.

Fat.

Alcoholic beverages.

Beth and the plastic girl.

"And this is the first time they are holding a fork together!"

Ugliness.

Dancing.

Borders. In the middle of the night. Why?

Because.

A crowded bookstore around midnight.

EmmaLee

Madness.

We waited for a long time.

Found such great books as this one.

And read until 3 in the morning.

Next day at Tapa's where Margaret invited me to have probably the best meal of my life.

YOu can't really see anything on this one but it was a cool place. Just believe me.

This is half a playing card. You get it when you have them park your car. Upon reclaiming your vehicle you simply hand them half of the card and they have the other half attached to your car. A number could work as well but this is cooler as you might admit.

The coolest dessert ever. Thanks again for that meal.

It was raining again so we went to Barnes & Noble.

Ewwww. Even thinking about those pictures makes me want to vomit.

Tazo Chai in a convenient pack.

Rain.

Beautiful Lake Ontario.

Seagulls.

I love the guy with the metal detector.

And thats it for today, my friends.
