I am Lars, I am 22 years old, originally from Germany but currently living in up in Den Haag, The Netherlands. After having served my mandatory Civil Service at a hospital, succesfully escaped unemployment 2 summers in a row by spending them in the USA. (Rochester, NY to be precise) I am now doing my 2nd year of European Studies. Which is impossible to describe, so please don't as any questions for now. I am in a (pretty great) relationship with a lovely lady called Anika and own a hamster named Knopf. Aside from that, I happen to have some great friends. Unfortunately, my ongoing obsession with the idea of being a global citizen has resulted in some of them living on the other side of the globe which makes life a little complicated. I love being around people and pretending that I am interesting. Furthermore I enjoy digital photography which I am pretty much constantly doing, quality music, summertime, swimming, having amazing conversations, laying in the grass, sledding, travelling, Apple products (yes, I know!), caffeinated beverages and lots of food. That should have provided you with an idea of who I am. In case you keep on wondering about my taste in music, you should check out my page on last.fm surrender.de is my contribution to that whole social internet deal. Originally planned as a photography portfolio, it somehow evolved into the equivalent of a photo journal that I have been updating in regular intervals since 2002. It also gives you the opportuity to find out what I did 5 years ago. Part scary, part great. It is pretty straight forward: All pictures from the last years can be found either in the Germany/USA/Netherlands section of the page. And if you've ever been around me and my camera, chances are, that you will be somewhere on here as well. Other than that you will find my ongoing dwellings about life in general in the catergory that I so creatively named "Life". I update when I update. Enjoy the page. |
